I haven't been checking this topic lately but it seems there's both a new OMG glitch to get to Drac and a new speedrunning route category to Drac, am I correct?

Anyone care to make a guide for it so I can update it at the beginning of June along with the low rate run? :P

I seriously have a lot of catching up to do. >_<

I don't know if it's right side doorways only, but it works for me as long as the room to your right is only one screen wide. The suspend glitch warps you one screen to the right, too, and what happens afterwards depends on where you did it. If you SG in the doorway of the room with the pushable block after the Behemoth fight, you appear on the other side of said block, entering through the door, since the glitch warped you into the space between doorway and door. SGing in the corridor with Skeletons after the Behemoth chase scene places you on the ledge with Whip Skill 1. SGing in the doorway of a one screen wide room with no room to the right triggers the Succubus glitch map sliding effect. Going out of bounds without actually leaving the map (for example suspending in the doorway of the warp room next to the Forest of Doom portrait, which places you on the other side of the right wall) allows you do slide down the map instead of up.

So much for my "explanation", the actual guide should be written by someone else. :3 You can use my maps if the routes prove to be optimal, though.

Okay, got a question. What exactly do I do in the first save room? As in suspend glitch.

Picked SG NG up again, and it's very possible to dodge Bat Moon with Stone of Flight, so no need for Griffin Wing. So, the basic route is SoF -> Throne Room. The main question is how to speed up the Drac fight. Here's what I have so far:

Get Change Cube
Get Call Cube
Get Tome of Arms 1
Get Short Sword
Save before Behemoth chase
SG to area around Raging Fire
Get Summon Skeleton
Get Whip Skill 1
Get Spear
Kill Behemoth - Summon Skeleton, Spear
SG past pushable block
Kill Keremet - push cauldron next to right ledge set; leave Charlotte w/ Tome of Arms 1 left of cauldron, position Jonathan w/ Short Sword on left edge of upper right ledge
Get Stone of Flight
SG to Throne Room
Get Speed Up
Save
Kill Final Guard - Whip Skill 1
Get Final Sword
Save
Kill Drac - Final Sword

Kinda funny how this route includes all the bosses you'd skip without SG. :)

Any suggestions?

NG time up to Master's Keep save before Final Guard: 00:05:40 at level 9

New NG+ time: 00:03:17 after credits

D&D fight was a bit slow; Illusion Fist on Death w/o Stone of Flight and Griffon Wing can be awkward, so I switched to Holy Claymore while avoiding going under him so he doesn't use the dive attack. True Drac decided not to use the fiery wings attack, so I had to endure two wing crush sequences. Everything else went well, though.

Definitely. 2-3 minutes worth of mistakes, I think. I'm not sure the Sandy Grave route is the fastest, and I'm probably missing some enemy drops that might be beneficial such as Hercules Ring. Still just a test run, so I didn't bother manipulating stuff aside from Summon Skeleton and Gunman.

Oh wow, it seems that ever since I saw Persona's Sandy Grave Knee Strike glitch SB, it's been stuck in my head. I can't believe no one's noticed yet that you can do the same with a simple partner triple/quadruple jump from the statue's chest, and thus skip getting Knee Strike.

One thing to try is SGing in the 1x1 room to the right of the second warp room in City of Haze, but you'd need to get Lizard Tail, I think, and I haven't yet managed to overcome that small gap, so I don't know if it's faster than the mining cart ride.

You can also SG to the top of the first 3x1 room in CoH, but that only saves a few seconds since you have Speed Up and Stone of Flight.

Well, I just cut exactly ten minutes off the New Game run.

New Game, Normal mode, w/o Suspend Glitch:

00:53:44

Together with the NG+ run, that's my third run ending with 44 seconds. :o

What's even better is that you can easily get below 50 minutes, and likely even lower. I don't know whether Holy Claymore is really that much faster or if I just suck at beating Whip's Memory fast, though. :P
