Hmm would Charlotte have enough MP or MP regen to keep spamming Raging Fire everywhere?

EDIT: Just tried it, looks like she does. :P Is there any other books that she can get along the way through the game? In case we ever need it since her first book really lacks range.

If it's only about range, Tome of Arms 1 is right in front of the Behemoth chase and takes barely a second to get. The better weapons are all out of the way, even if it takes only 10 seconds, I don't think it's worth it.

Doesn't matter. Attacking with Char. is just a bad idea. She's slow, doesn't do much damage, and gets hit alot up close. Just use her for spells. They do alot of damage. (just my 2 cents though.

Okay next question, is Summon Skeleton mainly used for just Dullahan? Summon Skeleton does around 90 damage in one go, while Raging Fire does 40. You can shoot like two Raging Fires by the time one set of skeletons finish. Thing is, drop rate for Summon Skeleton is like only 1-2%. In my opinion spending more than 15-25 seconds trying to get the drop will overall make it slower than just using Raging Fire. So it it worth ditching or am I missing something here?

Another question is that is money important? As in buying tonics and other stuff. If so, then is it worth the few seconds to pick up all the junk lying around to sell off?

that's why we segment. and not much time is lost from killing skeletons. using a normal Raging Fire then backdash cancelling is the same as taking damage. and i'm positive that the drop rate is not that bad.

i originally was using Skeleton for Legion, but it seems Gunman is better. so Skeleton is only for Dullahan, but its not worth ditching.

the money is primarily for Tonics. you could get away with collecting some things, but the more expensive stuff is higher priority.

Since you probably looked into it while making the route, do you know how much faster unlocking VK is? How long does the Whip's Memory fight take you? I'm pretty sure Darts are better for Mummy Man, The Creature and Werewolf, which leaves Medusa, Brauner, Death and True Drac. The VK special is pretty much useless against Medusa, and you could use a Golden Axe, for example. Darts are surprisingly useful on Brauner, too, VK special might be a bit faster, though. An overheadswing weapon like Golden Axe might work better on Death. VK special is very useful for True Drac, but skipping WM might be faster in the end.

Btw, mastered Shuriken is a useful backup weapon for most boss fights.

Edit: Forgot about Holy Claymore. Most likely better than Golden Axe. Final Sword is a possibility, but HC has the Holy bonus and trying to get a Final Guard drop would probably drive you insane anyway.

Edit 2: Have you considered getting an Ancient Armor drop? Yeah, I know. "Rare." But I don't think that matters too much, actually. I've gotten Summon Skeleton from the first and from the 100th kill, and I've gotten Ancient Armor from the first and from the 100th kill. It would allow you do be much, much more aggressive, especially on True Drac. Far too much time is wasted by avoiding his attacks. Old Axe Armors inhabit all of the dark portraits, iIrc.

Okay my progress is slow but here's the revised Entrance section:

Entrance

-Get Change Cube
-Get Call Cube
-Get Wait Cube
-In Behemoth room (jump and whip the first pillar from as far as you can once, then take off weapon and punch the rest). Get Beef Jerky [sold for 72] and then stand right in front of the wall waiting for the Behemoth to break through while pushing you in.
-Get Summon Skeleton (needed for Dullahan. You can also try getting it in the room after getting Raging Fire)
-Get Wait Cube (make sure to let Jonathan push since he pushes faster than Charlotte)
-Get Raging Fire
-Activate Entrance warp (while getting GuardHead [sold for 125])
-Visit Vincent
-Buy Castle Map and Dart
-Activate Quest from Wind AND complete it at the same time (gain Lizard Tail)

100% Perfect? Or is there more stuff to add? If any item isn't mentioned, then that means that I didn't get it (like the Knife). As for writing the sell prices, I need them for future reference.

Looks good.

Do you think having Tempest for Stella is worth the small detour?

I think it is. I can't be sure though. I don't have a way to time it though or I would. Just run down a hall, then KS down it and which is quicker.

Hello everyone!, my first time here and i hope to have a good time as well. Thanks to everyone that posted some speed tricks and sequence breaking tips. My new game file with NG+ starts out like:

Entrance:
Change cube
Switch Cube
Run from Behemoth
use jump glitch to gain access to Behemoth's room
kill behemoth
Go get the Lizard tail and visit Vincent
Go and complete City of Haze and call/push cubes
Use jump glitch in entrance to skip the lower area
skip Keremet and gain double jump cube
Go to Sandy Grave and use jump glitch to get to Astarte faster
Gain Strength glove and leave for now.

Next up is Nation of Fools, then the others.

are you doing a New Game or New Game + ? if the latter, Lizard Tail isn't necessary. and don't forget to use Magical Tickets.

and there's no reason to fight Behemoth.

I suggest you just read the whole thread.
There's already a pretty much optimized route for both NG and NG+. :)
