The good news is, I pin-pointed the spot where you have to suspend to get into the master's keep early. That bad news is, it takes almost 10 minutes to get there--not very good for a speed run. My lousy attempt at a speed-run got me to the forest of doom painting, with owl morph and gryffon wing, after 41 minutes. Add 10 minutes to do the glitch and 4 minutes to kill Dracula/Death, and that's 55 minutes and change with no sequence breakers except the OMG suspend.

Once you do the owl morph glitch to get outside, you have to go down 5 map-screens and left 5 map-screens; then simply put your map cursor in the Master's keep's main room and suspend. I think there's 3 more sequence breakers i need to do to make a faster speed-run, let me know if there's more...
1. speed-up+crouch and partner switch to squeeze into the 1st painting room.
2. partner switch jump glitch to get to the Nation of Fools warp room.
3. the same glitch again in the Sandy Grave to skip half the level.

From what I've understood so far, this seems to be the fastest route, unless I'm missing something. First run clocked in at 00:03:24.

That's pretty dang fast, but I don't think you need that many suspend-warps (SW). Instead of doing anything at the save point before the behemoth chase scene (BCS), just go straight over to the save point right after the BCS and suspend warp from the the skeleton/axe lord room to the ledge above the save room...the one that you would normally need the acrobat cube for. (with whip skill 1 cube on it)

Unless you have all those little SWs at the beginning, to get some special item?

edit: Did you have to fight the behemoth later on in the castle? or were you able to skip him? That must've taken some time.

I skip the BCS. The Whip Skill 1 ledge can be reached with partner jump glitch. Suspending in the Skeleton corridor is probably several seconds faster, but I save before Behemoth anyway. You have to fight him even if you skip the BCS, but the fight takes only two seconds on a NG+. A NG might want to go around the fight, although fighting him could still be faster with Raging Fire or a Summon Skeleton drop.

Why skip the BCS? I'd much rather skip the boss fight. When I tried fighting him on a NG, the fight took more than 3:24, alone. I'll have to try a few different paths on a NG+, but 3:24 is gonna be tough to beat. Is that the time of entering Drac's room or the last hit?

00:03:24 after final blow on True Drac.

The Behemoth fight takes ~10 seconds from entering to exiting his room on a NG+, and I don't know where to SG in order to skip the fight, if it's even worth it. Need more information about sliding with Lizard Tail, although it seems to waste quite a lot of time. As for the NG Behemoth fight, get Raging Fire / Summon Skeleton.

NG in progress: 00:03:25 at final save point

Route can probably be vastly improved if you use SG as much as possible, but I'm sticking with that for now. Got Whip Skill 1 for the Final Guard. Manipulating a Final Sword seems to be the best option so far, even though it's frustrating.

Perhaps a weapon with special that moves you up like some axes would work?

Would have to get Critical Art for that. Stone of Flight is probably not enough. Griffon Wing would be the way to go, but I'd need Sanctuary for that, unless you can SG into the dark portrait room, but you'd have to go through the Sisters' room to get back out, and fighting them would most likely still trigger the Bad Ending (I highly doubt they simply disappear after glitching into the dark portrait room). The only alternative is a Magical Ticket, and you'd need to visit Vincent for that and either spend money until you can buy one or get a Red Armor drop with Sanctuary, which would be completely pointless.

They don't disappear, i already tried to glitch enter their room from the other side. It doesn't matter at all which side you enter from.
