I probably need to test things some more, but this is my order of boss that I did.

Flying Armor
Dario
Dmitrii
Malphas
Gergoth
Zephr
Aguni
Puppet Master
Balore
Rahab
Bat Company
Death
Abaddon

Basically normal route except for Puppet Master and Balore. On my way to Dario I open the portal under Garden of Madness so I can teleport there later for Balore. I do Puppet Master and Balore later is because I want to be a high enough level to kill them before my MP runs out. For Puppet Master (I take the route from under Aguni) I spam Yoko's fire spell and for Balore I spam Julius' axe. I also save Bat Company for last because I need a high enough level to spam Alucard's Hellfire without running out of MP or HP.

I get ot the final save at 43:18. Gonna retry the run and see if I can get under 40 mins.

I could be wrong, but wasn't puppetmaster skippable? Did you list him just so you have fought all bosses, except all but one?

Well ... I didn't backdash too often, but does that make a difference of about 15 minutes? Everything else went pretty well ... Would you mind writing down a more detailed version of your route, with boss strategies and such?

I just did a run yesterday which was kinda experimental in its route. I'm not really sure what I was trying to do when I was planning it out. However, I did get a time of 00:46:03. I recorded my times at each place I saved, and I drew a map for you to follow.

Basically follow the colored line. When the line goes into a warp room and there is a dot, look for the line the same color as the dot and follow that line.

Basic Boss Strategies:

Dario - Whip and holy water with Julius.
Dmitrii - Whip and boomerang with Julius.
Malphas - Hit fast with Alucard sword and special.
Gergoth - Whip and axe with Julius.
Flying Armor - Two hit single jumps with Alucard.
Balore - Whip and axe with Julius.
Puppet Master - Two hit fires with Yoko.
Zephyr - Head on attack with Alucard until really hurt, then Julius whip.
Aguni - Two hit ices with Yoko.
Rahad - Good Multi-hit electric ball things with Yoko. Kill before MP runs out.
Bat Company - Three hit Hell Fires with Alucard. Backslide helps.
Death - Two hit ices with Yoko for first form. Two hit single jumps with Alucard for second form. Alucard special when Death vanish attacks.
Abaddon - Go crazy with holy water and whip with Julius.
Soma - Three sword hits before axe swing, then special (two hits), then four more sword hits before vanish with Alucard for first form. Two hit single jumps with Alucard for second form.

Oh yeah, and my basic method of travel was short down kicks with Alucard.

Dario - yoko ice and julius while waiting for MP
Dmitrii - axe then alucard slashes

Sorry I can't get into more details ATM since I've done this run quite a long time again, but I kept track of the times after each segment.

StuckInAPlate: Hmm your Dario to Dimitrii segment seems faster than mine. Is a Dario fight without Yoko really faster?

Also going to Puppet Master's area after Dario instead of heading for the Chapel is faster? I take it you go to Puppet Master's area for warp since it's along the way right?

EDIT: Okay I started a new run using StuckInAPlate's route. So far I'm at the save point of Dario at 2:14 at LV 6. Basically I jump attack all enemies on the way that die in 1 hit and use holy water for those who die in more than 1 hit.

Probably not. I just wanted to go straight through the first part of the castle because I thought it was cool that you automatically have a warp back to where Yoko is whenever you enter a warp room.

Yeah. It seems like a big waste to go up to Alucard then backtrack only to run back up there again at a later time.

Sorry if this sounds kinda of stupid, but how do I access the Abandoned Mine in Julius mode? When I get to the room above it, I'm not sure what I need to do. Also is there a quick way to get to level 99 in Julius mode? Just curious about it.

You have to kill all bosses except Paranoia to access Mine of Judgment. For level 99, kill the Bugbears above the 2nd Pinnacle save room with Yoko's ice spell.

Oops, it's Mine of Judgement. Abandoned Mine is from SotN. x_X

All bosses except Paranoia? Damn I already killed him. Does that mean I no longer have access to the mine? :(

Ah ok. But how exactly do I get into the MoJ then? I'm in the room where you would normally access it in the main game but for whatever reason, I can't get down there. x_X Sorry for the noobish questions. I checked gamefaqs and there's no explanation either. :( I might be missing a boss but I have like 86% map completion so I'm sure I defeated all the necessary ones.
