I'm really glad you found this 'cuz the glitch that I was testing was not working...and after one of many tests I saved with a disabled equip menu; oops! So I had to start a new game+ to fix it...it really sucks 'cuz i was at 299.4% without warping!! But I got a chance to do some NG+ glitch testing and found some interesting things:

1. If you SG at the opening cutscene (fighting the 3 monsters) you can kill the golem with the death soul while you are pretty far off the screen. And if the both you and the golem are not on the screen when it dies, you don't get a soul! ...and the game won't let you progress--you have to reset.

2.If you vertical SG the first boss fight (flying armor) you can actually kill the boss while both of you are outside the castle!! You have to wait until you stop warping and start running back towards the castle. This glitch also had a strange side effect on the rest of the game...see #3

3. Many bosses gone from their rooms--I never fought them in my new game+, but after SGing the 1st boss, Balore, Bat Company, Zephyr, both Paranoias, and Gergoth were gone...and Gergoth's broken floors were all broken. But strangely enough, only one of the pink walls blocking the paranoia bosses was gone; the middle one, Killer clown.

4. This may be old but it's new to me: the succubus soul will heal you when you are touching the pink walls blocking Paranoia (axe armor, ukoback).
Interesting. I can test these out now. Glad the DS is portable ^_^

You probably accidentaly altered the map variables while warping. I did it in an emulator, set the room with aguni as 'done' then walked into it, past it, grabbed the last seal, marked the aguni room as not done and reentered to fight it.

It was the only way to get in without the 4th seal too, since the castle keep boss room is the only one with boss door that can't be succubus glitched through if you don't have that seal. :\

I couldn't succubus glitch into the Malphas boss room either...I think any boss door that is flush with the floor, and on a flat floor; can't be SG'ed.
With most other boss doors, there is a step before the door or a depression in the floor; so that you are actually SG'ing right under the door.

With the new emulator I was finally able to find a value for the character mode in dos. I was able to turn freely around in the modes, but the problem was, that once I changed J into Soma he refused to change back.

It was all J mode, but instead of J i had Soma out. I met alucard and all, but he never joined my party after disappearing. :\

Also J in Soma mode before he turned into a Soma couldn't use any weapons. Once he used one even once he lost all control and I had to backdash to cancel out of it. He also had no animation for that, so he was just standing still.

Sucks, I wanted to play as J with a menu, but once you save and reload he changes into soma permanently.

Edit: However, starting a new soma game, then changing to J while the game loads leads to this:

Too bad save/reload changes it back to normal J mode, but until you do you can collect items and follow the storyline. Ignore the insane stats, they're the product of me messing with the game. The result being 2000-8000 damage hits. :P

Point being, I don't think the J mode with menu would be permanent and saving would most likely just remove it. :\

thats weird but is all the colors because of you hacking or the fact that its on an emulator that barely works?
and also whered you get that version of desmume? i cant find it

Emulator thing. The sprite masking for 3d engine isn't made yet.

it took me almost ten minutes to get through the first part which usually takes me about 10 seconds
