Well, I guess that entirely depends on your luck. The setup seems to require a fair amount of precision, and if Haibara's "double jump -> warp to Castle Corridor -> Floating Garden" is faster than my suggestion, FA will help you reach the Chapel warp room faster. The TAS managed this shortcut without FA, but that jump seems to require even more precision. If executed flawlessly, skipping FA is certainly faster, but I like to run this single-segment, so I personally prefer the safer route.

couple things. first, i've figured out how to start the zip to Chaotic Realm. when outside the chapel, fly up as far as you can on the screen without a screen transition. then fly right and keep holding right. that'll zip you in the proper direction. that's as far as i've gotten, though.

and the damage boost off the Axe Armor isn't necessary for an NG+. you can do a Demon Rush zip in the room below the Catoblepas. it'll drop you in the chapel, under the staircase, right on top of $1000.

You have to unmorph in the correct spot, between doorway and Student Witch. I've been warping all over the castle by unmorphing too early or too late, or ended up above the corridor with the Minotaur before Great Armor. I saw the room with the Chaos boss door for a moment before I got a black screen. You'd think there are still better warping routes left to be discovered. And I'm still stuck inside the wall.

i was able to get to the Chaotic Realm. but for the life of me i can't figure out how to get from that empty room to the room before Chaos.

Today, I intended to warp to Arena via the Floating Gardens Catoblepas. I don't know what happened, but it was probably a combination of getting hit by an Imp near the pillar and getting "Imp-cursed" during the stun animation while falling towards the pillar or something. Anyway, I zipped to Arena without the Catoblepas. Is this known?
