I was at the Leipzig Game Convention, and luckily I managed to get in Konami's exclusive stand. I knew Igarashi was over there, so I started to think up some questions in Japanese. Suddenly, I discovered Michiru Yamane who was sitting at the bar. Well.. As - probably - the biggest Castlevania-music-fan of the Netherlands I wouldn't let her pass by that easily. So I walked over to her, introduced myself etc. - remember, all in my very limited Japanese. Then I asked her if I could take a picture from her and me, and said goodbye.
HOWEVER.. At that very moment, Koji Igarashi himself walked out the meeting room so I also introduced myself to him, asked for a picture and so. But he looked pretty busy, so I said goodbye to him. Then Michiru Yamane returned to me (instead of I to her) and we talked a bit in half-Japanese/half-English. In Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles, she has composed some new songs to add to the soundtrack for certain places. Also, I asked if she was going to compose music for the third DS-installment too, but she apparantly didn't knew at first that there was a new game in development. Later, she said she was indeed going to compose music for the third installment too.
Then, Koji Igarashi returned with his Castlevania-hat for a new picture, which resulted in this:
Well.. Afterwards I asked for a interview on a later moment, so I received Yamane's and the Product manager's, Ippei Nio, card with address and phonenumber. Well.. This is about the best day in my life I guess.
