Post subject:  SotN Map% with Richter and Maria?

I have complete Richter game now in SotN and got a 194.6%. Did I miss a room?
Because I can't enter the Secret rooms in the Entrance, which are 0.3% with Richter. And in the PS1 you can get 195% (194.7% without the Secret Glitch rooms). So there are 0.1% missing, or I am wrong.
I have search the complete map and can't find any missing room. So must I search closer or is there only 194.6% in the PSP Version possible? Does the % count different to the PS1 Version?

And how much Map% can you get with Maria? I read on this site 194.1% is possible without glitches. Are there more places which she can't enter? I think of the 4 rooms in the Clock room (2 normal Castle, 2 Inverted Castle). This would be 194.5% (0.4% for the 4 rooms), so 0.2% less then Richter. So which 2 rooms she can't enter too. Or does the 4 rooms count as 0.6%?

The max for Maria is actually 194.2%, Persona is missing a save room on his inverted map. And since in SotN you get 1.7% for every 16 rooms, it is possible to get 0.5% from 4 rooms.

As for Richter, you are missing 1 room, and the only way I can help you is if you can figure out a way of taking a semi decent picture of your maps and posting it here, or at gamefaqs.

(I'm fathedred on gamefaqs)

Our Cam has no makro, so the pictures are to blurry.

I have copy a map from gamefaqs and mark every room now. I don't miss any room.
I have complete the game now 3 times in a row and know near every room. The rooms which I sometimes miss too. All rooms there. But only 194.6%. So maybe the European Version count different? Or this is an error or bug in the game?

I always found the last missing rooms in my other games much faster. I don't understand it. :(

I've updated the map page with the right castle name and percentage but I haven't uploaded the pics yet because:

-I can't find the convertor for my Vaio laptop

-I can't find the cable that connect a PSP to a PC

Matty, if you have a webcam, that might work better. If not, try using your digital camera with a magnifying glass over the PSP screen.

If you can get a picture like this, that would be great

But even if it ends up like this, post it anyway.

I should be able to spot the spot that doesn't look quite right.

The pics turned out good! I can see every room, but uh....you have every room that Richter can get. It's strange that so many people say the max. % is 194.7% (just because it's 3 rooms less than 195.0%) but one of those rooms must give 0.2%.

I feel really dumb for not having a max. % file with Richter myself, on PSP...but I heard the game freezes when you use the rebound stone item crash in the spike areas. So I guess the max. % with Richter is 194.6%--exactly 0.4% higher than Maria.

I am sure in the PS1 Version the 3 Entrance Rooms give you only 0.3%. And with Alucard on the PSP too.

As I finish the game with Alucard, I got 200.6% and after finish both Entrance Rooms I have now 201.2% (so 0.6% more) on the PSP. So every room gives you 0.1%.

Strange that this should be different with Richter. Maybe just an error in my game. It seems very Buggy with Richter at all. And maybe I was just to fast. I just run through most rooms with him.

And yes, my game most freeze in the Spike Room too. You must time the Item Crash exactly. When you get hit and press to fast Item Crash it freeze by me. Or after I pressed it 2 times it freeze sometimes too.
So it was much harder then the PS1 Version. Youmust doneit with near no hit.
But after maybe 10 tries it has work. 2-3 times it freeze as I was near the end from the backway.

I think I understand. The same room can give you 0.1% or 0.2%.
It is just important, how many rooms (or %) you already have.

Example: Every 10th room give you 0.2% (not sure how many rooms exact, this is just an example). So room 1-9 give you 0.1%. And by 9 rooms you have 0.9%. Now the next room will give you 0.2%, that you get 1.1%. No matter which room you enter next.

So by Richter one from the next 3 rooms will give you 0.2% for sure when you already have 194.6%. That you can get by the PS1 Version 195% with 3 rooms more.

And when you play Alucard, the last 6 secret entrance rooms will give you only 0.1%, because the next 0.2% are still some rooms away.

That is correct! 1890 rooms for 200.6% is very close to 0.1% for every room, but not quite. You actually get 0.2% for every 16th room.

The exact math equation is rooms times 0.1061 equals percentage.
