Jaw dropping incredible!!!!!!! found this at another site:

http://rapidshare.com/files/42669006/de ... vol393.zip
CVD the Japanese magazine scan.
"Dengeki PlayStation vol.393"

*Article that should be mentioned specially

Remake Rondo - The tragedy might occur if the kidnapped woman is not saved.

SOTN - New Boss Character Maria. And New Player Character Maria.

This is the best news to date!!!!!!

Now a PSP is finally and officially worth buying (well when DXC comes out, hehe),

but I wonder how the PSP version of SOTN Maria will work?

Hopefully not like Saturn Maria, I feel her Mega Man-like shots and charge shots are too cheap being able to poke from maximum distances.

Her boomerang birds would balance the attack range while providing a more natural style that isn't like Alucard, Richter or Mega Man's. =P

Also her magic.....hmmm I think Rondo style, requiring hearts and a specific sub-weapon type of item would work better, with item crashes being the more powerful, more heart consuming versions of her animal friends. so if you wanna use the Phoenix ability and item crash version, you first gotta find that subweapon-like item hidden in some candles of the castle. as for invincibility, that should require the maximum amount of hearts Maria can carry. and the duration should probably turn off if you exit a screen/area.
things PSP Maria should borrow from Saturn Maria should be the triple jump, super/gravity jump attack, slide, and her kicks were cool too. as well as that charge up punch.

but they should tone down the power of her attacks. the game is already too easy and most bosses too quick to kill.
So PSP Maria should be nimble enough to survive and access all corners of the castles, while having an array of attacks that are not overpowered nor useless. :)

oh yeah and hopefully her sprite details and animations are as beautiful as they are in the original SOTN. they better not change her sprite art!!!!

I agree!! Hopefully PSP SOTN Maria is done justice graphically, and gameplay-wise as well! I wouldn't mind if she is playable from the very start just like Richter but she is probably an unlockable surprise just like the PSX version ORIGINALLY intended for Maria to be playable but entering "Maria" after beating the game and getting the best ending didn't work.

also IGN confirms that SOTN will have new items and familiars and other secrets. It looks like PSP SOTN will be the ULTIMATE version of SOTN everrrrrr!!! it's a shame though it didnt get released on PS2. But anyways this news has made PSP worth buying but like you, I'm gonna wait until the game gets released and then I'll buy a PSP with it.

SWEEET!!!! :D

OMG TV OUT!!

And I'm loving the artwork (maybe cuz I'm very sick of the recent anime style) and the new contents for the game! Thanks affinity! :D

you're welcome! This is truly a miracle! :)

but I'm concerned cause they said the Slim PSP can only play games on a TV if you have component cables and a progressive scan TV (which I think it's dumb. they should just have options to let us resize the image anyway we want and not need progressive scan requirements)

but I'll probably buy the new PSP anyway, maybe there is a secret way to play games on your TV without needing component cables or a progressive scan TV and still look as decent as playing a PS1 game through A/V cables. :D

Don't you think that's a bit much? Richter can carry 99 hearts, but Maria can carry 999.

3rd unlockable is the Rondo version if you use a 1.0 or 2.0 card. Think Kid Dracula style game.

that sucks. i'd have much rather had Dracula XX.

regardless, with all this new stuff in SotN, its going to be a fun filled Christmas. but i feel people are concentrating too much on SotN and not enough on DXC.

There's so much new content on SotN, it's like a whole new version. If it was possible to play SotN without beating Rondo, it would be about 2 months before I start a Rondo game.

well honestly the ROndo remake is a nice try but I still place the original Rondo above the 2.5D remake.

and SOTN even above both of those since now Maria will be finally playable as she was meant to be (not the saturn version). :)

also I think Maria's heart limit should be 99 instead of 999. but I'm sure IGA will balance out her gameplay. She definitely should have her boomerang birds, though.

In por, the boomerang birds made her seem overpowered to me...

I'm sure they'll get a system that works right. I personally would prefer to have the Boomerang Birds myself as well.

in PoR, Maria can have 4 birds out at once. in RoB, it was only two. so by quantity, yes, Maria was overpowered in PoR.

I'd rather not have the birds myself. In rondo they worked because Maria was supposed to be that overly cute loli with cutesy stuff. In sotn she's hardly one. :P
