http://exophase.com/psp/dark_alex-relea ... n-2465.htm

Now we can enjoy Dracula X Chronicles? bonus game, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, in full screen! Homebrew developer Dark_AleX has released a patch for the game that replaces the larger screen mode, which stretches only top to bottom, with a full-screen mode taking full advantage of the PSP?s 480?272 resolution.

Note: This does not enable full screen mode for the original Rondo of Blood also included in the game.

---

Instructions:

- Make an ISO of the UMD. (note: the iso must be decompressed, not CSO, you can compress it after the patch if you want).
- Run the program in the command line as ?sotn_fs path_of_iso?, and done, you can play SOTN at fullscreen.

---

Window XP user:
Using Command Prompt for Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles SOTN fullscreen Patch

5 ) Move the your "CDXC.iso" into the same directory "sotn_fs.exe" is in "My Computer/[C:]"

7 ) On "Run" type cmd and your Command Prompt window will pop up.
8 ) In the command prompt window type cd c:\
9 ) Now hit the ENTER key and it should look like this: C:\>
10) After the C:\> type sotn_fs CDXC.iso
11) Now hit the ENTER key and a bunch of stuff should show up like this:

Won't this make the game overly stretched? :P

It'd be great if there was also one to change the screen size to the game's native resolution, that being 256x240 with optional removal of the background borders. It'd help vastly with screenshots, ripping etc.

Yeah it'll be stretched but most people barely will even notice the difference (I want stretched since the borders are annoying for me).

As beautiful as the border selection is, I find them really annoying when playing. Wish there was a plain old black border instead of pictures.

There's two sizes to choose from when playing. Maybe one of them is 256x240. :o

Another option to full screen using CWCheat:

Code: SoTN - Full Screen Patch
Author: [the_nemesis]
Cheat: 0x10113A74 0x000001E0
0x10118C10 0x000001E0
0x1011AD38 0x000001E0
0x1011AE38 0x000001E0
0x1011AE54 0x000001E0
0x1011C6E0 0x000001E0

Works like a charm. No need for ripping or anything.

I'll just have to make it myself. I'll probably get it done on my day off.
