Make an account and apply for membership. Edit: Dug through the site manager and found that you already did. Didn't get any kind of notification. Should be unlocked now. |

A few NG notes: - Are the Battle Boots worth the trip? I seem to get a lot of MTs from random chests that cost zero time to open, so maybe you could delay buying tickets until the boots are available. - After Skeleton Cave, rescue Aeon first and get the Tower Ring. A must for traveling. - You can MT after Marcel. - There's a Super Potion on your way to Rapidus Fio and a pretty good food item in a ledge before Eligor which allows more Dominus Agony and skipping Vis Fio. - Maneater likes to get stuck in a very abusable stomping loop pretty often, in case you didn't know. Just stay near him when the battle starts and keep hitting him, works 75% of the time for me. |

Satoryu wrote: the Mint Sundae gives back a few hearts, though. not enough to make a difference if memory serves. Oh, you're right. I've gone through the maps again looking for decent healing items, and aside from a Schnitzel in Mystery Manor that's a bit out of the way, I didn't find anything. Didn't look at drops yet, but it seems that an optimized run is going to require a lot more luck manipulation than I thought. :/ Of course, you can also MT after Rapidus Fio if you have a ticket to spare at that point. Also, is there a link to this forum / the old PoS site anywhere on the wiki? I don't remember seeing one. ALSO, finished a lazy run in 1:20:14 - far too many saves, a few dumb mistakes and no manipulation (i.e. no Blow/Wind Rings). No sub-1h for OoE, I guess. Should have given us Mercury Boots a bit earlier - placing them next to Rapidus Fio is kind of pointless. What happened to your Moonwalkers idea? Haven't tried backdash transportation yet. |

It's alive! ALIVE! lol, j/k! Anyways, I think coffee gives you some hearts too. edit: I finished the hall of fame on the wiki page, and I will look around to see if there are other parts that need completion. Any suggestions? |

New Game: 1:14:19 No AP Drops, no Battle Boots, no Blow/Wind Rings, still too many saves, still too many mistakes. I think Wygol heart refilling is only really needed before Barlowe and Death, you should be getting enough from Glyphs and candles along the way, and Unions aren't really that necessary before Dominus Agony, anyway. |

I'm going for the rings this time. Saved at 21:40 in Wygol before Misty Forest Road. Anything I should know about chest manipulation? Afaik, the contents are generated when you enter the area, but I don't know about normal/rare occurrences. Been trying for a while now and never found a rare chest. Do I have to hard reset? |

New Game: 01:06:55 Pretty good run, but I really don't think we can shave off seven more minutes. I'm probably wrong. I hope. :P I used the accessory glitch with Death/Judgment/Wind on Drac, but I don't think it made a difference. Can't think of any other uses, either - Empress/Blow/Wind is useless since you won't be using Strike/Slash at the same time. Next combination would be Death/Empress/Blow or Wind, and Empress would barely make a difference on Eligor/Death, if any. Strength Ring might be worth looking into. And I'm still not sure the AP Drops are worth it. Also, dual weapon unions seem to be mostly stronger than the holy weapon union before Barlowe due to Blow/Wind, so I think we can skip Luminatio and get Vol Luminatio for Barlowe before Albus instead. Had my best Rusalka battle so far, by the way. She just kept summoning pillars. Route I used: Ecclesia - tutorial Monastery - activate bottom warp - equip Secare from Bone Scimitar - equip Magnes - use Red Drops at F15 - Arthroverta — Secare+Secare - warp to bottom - exit Wygol Village - rescue Nikolai / get Torpor - exit Ruvas Forest - equip Macir - exit Kalidus Channel - get Magical Ticket - rescue Jacob - exit Minera Prison Island - Giant Skeleton — Macir+Macir - get HPMax at J18 - activate middle warp - get Dominus Hatred - rescue Abram - get Heart Max at F24 - equip Falcis - get Glyph Sleeve + exit Lighthouse - Brachyura — Macir+Macir - get Luminatio - rescue Eugen - get Serpent Scale + exit Kalidus Channel - get Heart Max at H17 - exit and reenter - get money and MPMax at J9 - rescue Monica - use Magical Ticket Wygol Village - buy 9 Magical Tickets - buy 9 Meat - exit Tymeo Mountains - use Blue Drops at entrance - equip Empress Ring - rescue Laura - exit Misty Forest Road - manipulate Blow Ring - equip Vol Macir - exit Skeleton Cave - Maneater — Vol Macir+Vol Macir - get Ordinary Stone - rescue George - Magical Ticket Minera Prison Island - warp to middle - equip Tower Ring - rescue Aeon - Magical Ticket Tymeo Mountains - rescue Marcel - exit Somnus Reef - rescue Anna - get Heart Max at L8 - manipulate and equip Wind Ring - Rusalka — Falcis+Falcis - rescue Serge - exit Giant's Dwelling - rescue Daniela - equip Vol Secare - Goliath — Vol Secare+Vol Secare - get Dominus Anger - exit Tristis Pass - get Vol Grando - get Heart Max at N22 - rescue Irina - exit Oblivion Ridge - Gravedorcus — Vol Grando+Vol Grando, Vol Macir - Magical Ticket Ecclesia - visit Barlowe - exit room, Magical Ticket Argila Swamp Mystery Manor - get Schnitzel - Albus — Vol Secare+Vol Secare - get Dominus Agony - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - refill hearts Ecclesia - Barlowe — Vol Secare+Luminatio+Dominus Agony - Magical Ticket Castle Entrance - get Heart Max Up at U12 - use White Drops at R13 Library - get HPMax at L12 - Wallman / Paries - get Dextro Custos - Magical Ticket Castle Entrance - get HPMax at S16 Underground Labyrinth - equip Nitesco - equip Mercury Boots - activate warp before Blackmore - Blackmore — Vol Secare+Nitesco+Dominus Agony - get Super Potion - equip Rapidus Fio - exit - reenter, warp to warp before Blackmore - use White Drops at f31 Barracks - get Heart Max Up at R28 - get HPMax at R36 - use Red Drops at U39 - activate warp - equip Valkyrie Mail Mechanical Tower - get Vis Fio - equip Valkyrie Mask - get HPMax at L49 - get Death Ring - warp to Barracks Arms Depot - equip Melio Falcis - Eligor Front — Melio Falcis+Melio Falcis+Vis Fio — Underside — Vol Macir+Vol Macir+Dominus Agony — Back — Melio Falcis+Melio Falcis+Vis Fio — Head — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony - get Arma Custos - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - refill hearts Mechanical Tower - Death — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony Forsaken Cloister - open Cerberus gate - get Eisbein Final Approach - get Volaticus - equip Judgement Ring - get Heart Max Up at D36 - Dracula — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony |

Added Strength Ring to the route. Tin Man takes four Dominus Hatred hits. Enter the spotlight, duck under the Demon, use DH, go back to the entrance, hope for not overly aggressive Demons and fire two more DH while the Tin Man is climbing the stairs. He should be entering machine gun mode on the last step so you can duck under the bullets, then finish him off. Coming from the second Minera save point, after walking through all the Spear Guards, you should have 96 HP left. DH takes 30 and you'll probably get hit by the Demons a bit, but the two starter potions are more than enough. You'll also be level 6 for Brachyura as an added bonus. |

New Game: 01:02:09 No idea whether we can shave off two minutes by optimization alone. I'd rather find another time saver. I cut out Secare this time since I don't think it's worth the time it takes to save before the Bone Scimitar and absorb the Glyph. Might be different if you decided to not save at all before the drop manipulation, but I doubt it, and it's definitely not worth the effort. Also, Luminatio is obsolete now since Vol Secare union is much stronger. I'm also leaning towards skipping Vis Fio - for Eligor's forelegs, at least, with Death/Wind/Wind, it's faster to not use it since it wastes too much mana, which prevents you from destroying the legs during the sword ground stab. Ecclesia - tutorial Monastery - activate bottom warp - equip Magnes - use Red Drops at F15 - save - Arthroverta — Confodere+Confodere - warp to bottom - exit Wygol Village - rescue Nikolai / get Torpor - exit Ruvas Forest - equip Macir - exit Kalidus Channel - get Magical Ticket - rescue Jacob - save - exit Minera Prison Island - Giant Skeleton — Macir+Macir - get HPMax at J18 - activate middle warp - get Dominus Hatred - rescue Abram - save - get Heart Max at F24 - equip Falcis - equip Strength Ring - get Glyph Sleeve + exit Lighthouse - Brachyura — Macir+Macir - rescue Eugen - get Serpent Scale + exit Kalidus Channel - get Heart Max at H17 - save - exit and reenter - get money and MPMax at J9 - rescue Monica - use Magical Ticket Wygol Village - buy 9 Magical Tickets - buy 9 Meat - save - exit Tymeo Mountains - get Mushroom - rescue Laura - exit Wygol Village - save Misty Forest Road - manipulate Blow Ring - equip Vol Macir - exit Wygol Village - save Skeleton Cave - manipulate Blow Ring - save - Maneater — Vol Macir+Vol Macir - get Ordinary Stone - rescue George - Magical Ticket Minera Prison Island - warp to middle - equip Tower Ring - rescue Aeon - Magical Ticket Tymeo Mountains - rescue Marcel - exit Wygol Village - save Somnus Reef - manipulate Wind Ring - rescue Anna - activate second warp - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - save Somnus Reef - manipulate Wind Ring - get Heart Max at L8 - save - Rusalka — Falcis+Falcis - rescue Serge - exit Giant's Dwelling - rescue Daniela - equip Vol Secare - save - Goliath — Vol Secare+Vol Secare - get Dominus Anger - exit Tristis Pass - save - get Vol Grando - get Heart Max at N22 - rescue Irina - save - exit Oblivion Ridge - save - Gravedorcus — Vol Macir+Vol Macir - Magical Ticket Ecclesia - visit Barlowe - exit room, Magical Ticket Wygol Village - refill hearts - save Argila Swamp Wygol Village - save Mystery Manor - get Schnitzel - save - Albus — Vol Secare+Vol Secare - get Dominus Agony - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - refill hearts - save Ecclesia - Barlowe — Vol Secare+Vol Secare+Dominus Agony - Magical Ticket Castle Entrance - save - get Heart Max Up at U12 - use White Drops at R13 Library - get HPMax at L12 - Wallman / Paries - get Dextro Custos - Magical Ticket Castle Entrance - save - get HPMax at S16 Underground Labyrinth - equip Nitesco - equip Mercury Boots - activate warp before Blackmore - save - Blackmore — Vol Secare+Nitesco+Dominus Agony - get Super Potion - equip Rapidus Fio - exit Wygol Village - save Castle Entrance - warp to warp before Blackmore Barracks - save - get Heart Max Up at R28 - get HPMax at R36 - use Red Drops at U39 - activate warp - equip Valkyrie Mail Mechanical Tower - save - equip Valkyrie Mask - get HPMax at L49 - get Death Ring - warp to Barracks - save Arms Depot - equip Melio Falcis - save - Eligor Front — Melio Falcis+Melio Falcis Underside — Vol Macir+Vol Macir+Dominus Agony Back — Melio Falcis+Melio Falcis Head — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony - get Arma Custos - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - refill hearts - save Mechanical Tower - Death — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony Forsaken Cloister - open Cerberus gate - get Eisbein - save Final Approach - get Volaticus - equip Judgement Ring - get Heart Max Up at D36 - save - Dracula — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony |

Just found that you can glitch through Eligor's hind legs, skipping that lengthy underside phase. Just jump into the upper section and you should get it easily. Tower Ring and Rapidus Fio are helpful, but not necessary. Been trying to get a good NG+ run going with it, but nothing so far. My personal record without it is 30:56. For NG, sacrificing the leftover Meat for this should suffice. |

New Game: 1:00:45 Only changes are the Eligor leg clip and a Heart Repair from Ruvas for Blackmore. I tried to cut down on the saves again, but the constant need for health refills and all the item and enemy manipulation makes it pretty pointless. If you have no objections, I'll probably be using this route for my recorded run attempts, maybe with slight modifications if I find something new, but I can't really think of anything. Sub-1h should be possible, but I don't know if I can do it. ------------------------------- SEG 1 Ecclesia - tutorial Monastery - activate bottom warp - equip Magnes - Arthroverta — Confodere+Confodere - warp to bottom - exit Wygol Village - rescue Nikolai / get Torpor - save SEG 2 Ruvas Forest - equip Macir - manipulate Heart Repair (for Blackmore) - exit Kalidus Channel - get Magical Ticket - rescue Jacob - save SEG 3 Minera Prison Island - Giant Skeleton — Macir+Macir - get HPMax at J18 - activate middle warp - get Dominus Hatred - rescue Abram - save SEG 4 - get Heart Max at F24 - equip Falcis - Tin Man — Dominus Hatred (2 Potions) - equip Strength Ring - exit Lighthouse - Brachyura — Macir+Macir - rescue Eugen - get Serpent Scale + exit Kalidus Channel - get Heart Max at H17 - save SEG 5 - exit and reenter - get money and MPMax at J9 - rescue Monica - use Magical Ticket Wygol Village - buy 9 Magical Tickets - buy 9 Meat - save SEG 6 Tymeo Mountains - get Mushroom - rescue Laura - exit Wygol Village - save SEG 7 Misty Forest Road - manipulate Blow Ring - equip Vol Macir - exit Wygol Village - save SEG 8 Skeleton Cave - manipulate Blow Ring - save SEG 9 - Maneater — Vol Macir+Vol Macir - get Ordinary Stone - rescue George - Magical Ticket Minera Prison Island - warp to middle - equip Tower Ring - rescue Aeon - Magical Ticket Tymeo Mountains - rescue Marcel - exit Wygol Village - save SEG 10 Somnus Reef - manipulate Wind Ring - rescue Anna - activate second warp - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - save SEG 11 Somnus Reef - manipulate Wind Ring - get Heart Max at L8 - save SEG 12 - Rusalka — Falcis+Falcis - rescue Serge - exit Wygol Village - refill hearts - save SEG 13 Giant's Dwelling - rescue Daniela - equip Vol Secare - save SEG 14 - Goliath — Vol Secare+Vol Secare - get Dominus Anger - exit Tristis Pass - save SEG 15 - get Vol Grando - get Heart Max at N22 - rescue Irina - save SEG 16 - exit Oblivion Ridge - save SEG 17 - Gravedorcus — Vol Macir+Vol Macir - Magical Ticket Ecclesia - visit Barlowe - exit room, Magical Ticket Wygol Village - save SEG 18 Argila Swamp Wygol Village - refill hearts - save SEG 19 Mystery Manor - get Schnitzel - save SEG 20 - Albus — Vol Secare+Vol Secare - get Dominus Agony - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - refill hearts - save SEG 21 Ecclesia - Barlowe — Vol Secare+Vol Secare+Dominus Agony (3 Meat) - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - save SEG 22 Castle Entrance - get Heart Max Up at U12 Library - get HPMax at L12 - Wallman / Paries - get Dextro Custos - Magical Ticket Castle Entrance - save SEG 23 - get HPMax at S16 Underground Labyrinth - equip Nitesco - equip Mercury Boots - activate warp before Blackmore - save SEG 24 - Blackmore — Vol Secare+Nitesco+Dominus Agony (4 Meat) - get Super Potion - equip Rapidus Fio - exit Wygol Village - save SEG 25 Castle Entrance - warp to warp before Blackmore Barracks - save SEG 26 - get Heart Max Up at R28 - get HPMax at R36 - activate warp - equip Valkyrie Mail Mechanical Tower - save SEG 27 - equip Valkyrie Mask - get HPMax at L49 - get Death Ring - warp to Barracks - save SEG 28 Arms Depot - equip Melio Falcis - save SEG 29 - Eligor (2 Meat, Mushroom) Front — Melio Falcis+Melio Falcis Back — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony Head — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony - get Arma Custos - Magical Ticket Wygol Village - refill hearts - save SEG 30 Mechanical Tower - Death — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony Forsaken Cloister - open Cerberus gate - get Eisbein - save SEG 31 Final Approach (Schnitzel+Eisbein+SuperPotion, dash through everything) - get Volaticus - equip Judgement Ring - get Heart Max Up at D36 - save SEG 32 - Dracula — Melio Falcis+Nitesco+Dominus Agony |

I get and use 10 tickets, actually, the one from Kalidus + 9 from the shop. You must have overlooked something. Also, is it possible for the game to spawn two rare chests during one visit to the area? Not that I'd go for that, just curious. :P |
