Ditto, pretty fun video Persona, great work as usual.
I just wanted to say regarding Vecta's post on page 8 that all the combos I've been posting here so far have been alreday proved in action, I post them to get tips on how to improve them mostly so please..err.. discuss about them here and help out? Also, I'd like to ask if there's a deadline set already because keep in mind all the combos I and my friend Pigi86 captured are done with a shitty camera and are only captured to show you peeps that they can be done, so we'll need someone to actually re-record them, just thought I'd let you know.
I'll see if I can capture another batch of vids with all the ones I?ve been thinking of, even if they're not that good.

hey tv-kun....

i took your combo and i improved it...

i made 2 versions.... but

first... the last part of your combo wont connect... after a fully charged Qcf + A/C of shen you cant SC it would have to be a normal qcf + A/C and then SC into LDM but thats a waste of stocks... because after the LDM theres nothing you can do...

but...

i did this...

version #1 the handsome one =P


Characters:Elizabeth,Shen (L )

Dummy: tested on Vanessa

Special Condition: opponent must be near the corner

Description:

Shen: Air D, standing C, Hcb + A [QS]

Eliz: Air D, standing C, forward + A, A, forward + A, Hcf, hcb +A/C [QS]

opponents in mid air....

Shen: short jump CABC (LDM) , LDM hits... and you do a hcb + E ( it looks cool =P)

90% damage

facts or notes to be tested: NONE ... i have tested it myself... in fact i just tested it a couple of minutes ago...


and the second version...

The ugly one =P

Characters:Elizabeth,Shen (L ),

Dummy: Vanessa

Special Condition: opponent must be near the corner

hehe thanks a lot for testing it, as you can see the one that the LDM hits is already in my elizabeth QS faq, I posted a link earlier fot that, but its a great combo aniway, as its the only way you can conect Shen LDM and after that killing easy with just some moves. would there be a way to STUN opponent right when Shen LDM hit? something like this:

Gai:jC,sC,f+D,b,f,QS
Elizabeth: jD,sC,f+B,f+A,qcfhcb+A/C,QS
Shen: LDM, Stun,charge qcf+A/C,kill

this would be also a good way to kill with stile xD

another question,could you QS qcf+A/C hiting on oponent in air and conect a anywhere hit move? like King LDM? so we could:

Shen: qcf+A/C,QS
King:LDM

but probabily this would be just a waste of stock -_-

I came up with some ideas that may open new doirs for combos and I would ask someone to test them...

Malin yoyo:
doing qcb+A/C she launches her yoyo, and can only launch one at time,the thing is, and I already tested, is that you can use qcb+A with the opponent near you,the yoyo would go trough him and stand in air near his back,with this you can do good Malin combos.
the thing is that if you hit any move on the oponent right after using the yoyo and QS,you can have time to do a combo with the extra yoyo hit.
2 good ways to do this .

1-hit d+D and cancel into qcb+A,hit C,QS
2-stun the oponent do qcb+A,hit C and QS

I know the timing for this is a bore, but it do work as I could see,some
fast moves will realy conect,maybe this is easyer with oponent near wall and yoyo the most near possible of the wall.aniway it would be good if someone could do tests on this

fireball combo
As we could notice the weaker version of the fireball is danm low,there are lots of combos with fireball hit before, but I never saw one where someone normal shifted after using one.
the idea is to see if you can launch a weak fireball normal shift and hit any move with the other character,eve if its needed to the opponet to be walking back or running.

Special Condition: You on the corner opponent must be at 6 bodies of distance from you. (eijis body distance =P)

Description:

Eiji: Rdp + D (it will actually be a crossover the Rdp + D must hit 3 times), land, crouching A, crouching D (1 hit) Hcb + C [QS]

Maxiima: Air C, Standing D, forward A, qcf + C, qcf + C [QS]

Bjennet: Air C (the 2 hits..), standing A, C, qcf + D (the 4 hits), down + B, B,B,B (whif), B [stun]

Normal shift to Eiji

Eiji:Go to the opposite side of the screen,(full range) Rdp + D (4 hits) standing C, hcf, hcb + B/D..... wait till the DM is about to end after the last hit... DC into hcb x 2 + E ....

(so here if you did all at the proper moment before the last hit of the DM you will get the skill point you need for the DC... timing is not that difficult)

overkill =P

i tried to do it as realistic as possible the eiji combo.. thats why i dont wait a lot when the opponent is stunned...

Sorry, that question again might seem stupid but I'm truely unsure about this:

Many people speak about run-away combos, I mean where the opp. runs away and you shoot a projectile blahblah. I'm relatively familiar why and how but be honest how do you make the training dummy run away? In practice menu there really are options this KoF but you can only make opp. run towards you and even if you jump over him the training dummy is going to run back at you and not continue running the other way....

With emulators you could write a mini macro which holds forward on second controller to make the dummy continue running. You probably know this better than I do.

In short: how do you do it on PS2 console :P
Don't tell me you hire a friend to hold forward on your second PS2 controller ;p

You make a rec of what you want your opponent to do (in this case is run) so you do that and put 2nd player ON and press the command button which will redo what you just recorded. Therefore you pretty much just jump over opponent and start running combo.

Sometimes, yes... specially in combos with Mai or Choi when you have to do special moves (d, u to jump quickly to the wall). Many conditional combos are needed with a real player 2 using your dummy. :P

I never knew how to record on player 2 side. :(

I actually use my feet to make player 2 run while I perform a combo lol.
