Wait, you mean you can't use Magical Ticket if Wind and Vincent have something to say to you? It works for me.

As for arranging the glitch section, I'll think about it. There's still a lot of other stuff in the site I have to attend to first.

Only thing that comes to mind for routes is:

City of Haze
Use jump glitch to skip Behe and Kere
Open warp point for Nation of Fools
Get double jump
Sandy Grave
Warp to Nation of Fools
The rest

You can also skip the train scene in 13th Street with an Axe special.

If you're using the japanese version, that might be the reason. So you can use a MT as soon as you gain control and warp directly to Vincent's room? That's confusing.

I'm kind of lost. The version I'm using that has leftover Wind and Vincent script (Vincent whining about being bitten, etc) is my NA version.

I can MG and play normally. Dialogue pops up if I enter their room from the left side.

So I started a NG+, went to their rooms, triggered the dialogue and tried to use a MT. Still didn't work. What exactly are the conditions for that?

well... if you want to be technical you could just record a vid and say it's a speedrun because no one has done one... but talking starts i do believe you have to have beaten at least one portrait. i could bew wrong though. for the best route are you going for 100%? if not(i assume you aren't) city of hazeand partner glitch up to the tower and haul ass through the succubus hall using a herc ring and speed up. make your way up to the tower and reach the portrait room you clear them one by one (beating one unlocks another) but on hard mode i think that it doesn't work that way.

Just finished a sloppy single-segment NG+ run using my route. No Magical Tickets were used.

Times:

33:12 in front of Drac's boss door

34:57 after delivering the final blow on True Drac

What time should I aim for?

Routes look about right. :o

For time, I have no idea because I never bothered speedrunning PoR (unless there's a way to capture).

As for your MG problem, I also have no idea (read your topic at GF).

Through the entire game, isn't using the MG only useful twice?
After Dullahan and getting the relics and after beating Stella.

those times are pretty good.

i've been trying some stuff with NG. the route is pretty much the same as NG+, but what I'm really worried about is actual strats for the bosses. here's what I got:

Entrance -- get Tome of Arms 1 + Short Sword, get helmet, activate warp, 1st quest(get 2100$, buy map, Dart, Rock Riot)

City of Haze -- Cream Pie + food, get Claymore, equip Leather Whip, Dullahan, moonwalkers, push relic, warp out

Castle -- partner jump to Knee Smash and Nebula, activate NoF warp, activate stairway warp, get Partizan? and Double Jump

Sandy Grave -- knee strike up, Astarte, push relic, warp out

Castle -- stairway warp, equip Tempest, warp

Nation of Fools -- partner jump up, activate warp, up to right, Spiked Boots?, Legion, up to warp, warp out

Castle -- Stella, get taunt + curse, warp to Wind, overcome curse x? + spinning art + art of zephyr, battle axe + dark rift + ice needles + spirit light + hipos + hitonics, warp

Forest of Doom -- duh

Sandy Grave -- middle warp, down, Sanctuary, warp out

Castle -- warp to Tower, get HPMax, Death, Master's Keep, Sisters, Richter

Forgotten City -- Attica Helmet, Gryffon Wing, Meteor?, Mummy Man

Dark Academy -- duh

13th st -- Samurai Leg, Assassins Cape, Werewolf

Burnt Paradise -- right path, Tome of Arms 3, Medusa

Castle -- restock?, Brauner, Dracula

Dullahan.

Just have 1 character on each side. He'll do nothing and keep turning around making him a free kill. Other than that I don't know what skills/spells is useful against him.

to save some time at 13'th street you can use a jumping critical attack on the train with a spear. you go over it. someone here told me how to do it.
