Just wondering. Somebody started a topic about it on GameFAQs, but it died in short order. Here are my times with Richter:

Boss Rush Normal - 05:26.12
Boss Rush Dash - 04:44.11
Full Boss Rush - 12:39.38

Total - 22:49.61

I plan to but I'm just busy with other stuff lately like the site and other games at the moment. :P

Oh and welcome back. ^^

Thanks ^_^

I lent my Castlevania games to a friend for a while, and totally forgot about this site during that time.

*whacks cucumber with a wiffle bat*

um um what Cucumber meant was that, all this time, Cucumber remembered this site and has been eager to visit again. :D

From what I played of normal boss rush, my subweapons were:

Wyvern: axe
Werewolf: axe
Minotaur: nothing
Dullahan: stopwatch
Death: stopwatch
Shaft: knife
L.Vampire: axe

That's what I said, right? *wink wink*

Here's what I use for Boss Rush Normal:

Wyvern: Cross
Werewolf: nothing
Minotaur: Stopwatch (once, immediately at the beginning of the fight)
Dullahan: Stopwatch
Death: nothing
Shaft: Holy Water
L.Vampire: Axe

Yay, beat my Boss Rush Dash time, by about 7 seconds. Now my times with Richter are:

Boss Rush Normal - 05:26.12
Boss Rush Dash - 04:37.06
Full Boss Rush - 12:39.38

Total - 22:42.56

I feel like I could probably chop a pretty significant amount of time off of my Full Boss Rush time, but it takes so much longer to do that I have a hard time getting into it.

Since DXC isn't as complexed as other Boss Rushes where you can switch gears and stuff, I'm guessing the only thing that makes a good time is discussing the best subweapon for each boss, praying that the boss does the attack you want it to as much as possible and........skill.

When you use your stopwatch for Dullahan, do you use it normally or crash? Also not sure if you know this yet but you can force Dullahan to keep doing his head attack if you stand on the upper ledges.

Cut a little off my Boss Rush Normal time:

Boss Rush Normal - 05:21.54
Boss Rush Dash - 04:37.06
Full Boss Rush - 12:39.38

Total - 22:38.38

Sub-5:20.00 is definitely possible, as I messed up a bit on L. Vampire, which gave her enough time to switch back to the left side.

I use the Stopwatch Crash first, then just use it normally the second time.
And I actually just figured out that upper-ledge thing a few days ago.

I use the Key against the Werewolf, now, and usually use two or three normal Stopwatches against the Minotaur.

Cut some time off of my Boss Rush Dash time. New times:

Boss Rush Normal - 05:21.54
Boss Rush Dash - 04:24.19
Full Boss Rush - 12:39.38

Total - 22:25.51

Yay for a sub-22:30.00 total?

Great times! :D

After the game starts lowering in players and the vets start having nothing to do in the game, I'll be back to boss rush with full dedication. :D

Is the cross really better than the axe for Wyvern? Asking since the only way I can see the cross doing better is if the wyvern is still while the cross is thrown at the farthest point.

Yeah, unless there's some wacky thing you can do with the Axe that I'm not aware of. Using the Cross, I can pretty consistently kill the Wyvern around the 16-second mark, and enter his portal at around the 27-second mark. If you do it right, it should only take 5 Crosses to kill the Wyvern.

New Richter times again:

Boss Rush Normal - 05:10.30
Boss Rush Dash - 04:19.18
Full Boss Rush - 12:39.38

Total - 22:09.26

With a bit of luck, Richter may be able to go sub-five minutes in Boss Rush Normal.

A sub-twenty minute total is still a ways off, though. Maybe when I get around to doing some more Full Boss Rushing.

After finishing Silent Hill Origins, guess I'm back to DXC. :P

Although I'm probably going to mess around with Maria's SotN game before going back to boss rush. When do you plan on releasing your tactics by the way?

I'll probably use Maria for boss rush since you seem to have everything under control for Richter. :P

A new and exciting Boss Rush Dash time for Richter!

Boss Rush Normal - 05:10.30
Boss Rush Dash - 04:02.41
Full Boss Rush - 12:39.38

Total - 21:52.49

Finally a sub-22 minute total. I'm now sure sub-4 minutes for BRD is possible, too, though it may be a while before I get lucky enough to do so.

As for my tactics, I just didn't post them because nobody seemed terribly interested. I'm going to cut some time off of my FBR time tonight, after which I can post my tactics, if you'd like.
