| Stella & Loretta basics and techniques |
DPS = damage per second
Hearts refill your MP.
Stella and Loretta may look tall, but their invincible frames are very large. Their whole upper body (head to waist) is invulnerable.
Fastest way to go down. Drain ALL your MP and hold down. A bit faster than going down with MP.
You can tap on the screen to confirm stuff like entering portraits, saving or warping. When warping, you can tap on the desired place you want to warp to instead of pressing left or right.
Stella uses less MP than Loretta when used correctly. Placing your stylus on the screen will drain your MP much faster than Loretta and does not actually make you attack faster than just tapping around since Stella has fixed DPS (1 hit per second). tapping saves you MP for flying around while still doing the same DPS as pressing on the screen.
With that known now, you may think Stella is much better than Loretta right (since Loretta has to press on the screen to get the most DPS)? Wrong. True that loretta will drain MP much faster than Stella now, but her DPS until her MP runs out is much faster. Basically, if an enemy goes down before her MP runs out, Loretta is the choice and not Stella. If the enemy doesn't go down from a full MP meter but will go down a bit afterwards, it's still wise to use Loretta and tap the last few hits. If the enemy is much stronger than that (most like the end-game bosses), Stella is the choice).
Stella is based on Jonathan (the stronger attack and def of the pair), meaning her attack is based on melee strength (bash, pierce, slash, etc). Enemies strong to melee attack will take less damage from Stella.
Loretta is based on Charlotte (the weaker attack and def of the pair), meaning her attack is based on (I'm not exactly sure how to say it) magic. Enemies strong to magic will take less damage from Loretta.

+ Attack goes through everything (if there's a row of enemies, you can attack the enemy from at the back while not having to touch the front)

- Has less control over fights
Overall a very solid character compared to her sister. She may look perfect but is actually lacking the most important thing, and that's attack speed.

- Overall less DPS
- Attack does not go through everything )if there's a row of enemies, you will have to kill from the front until the back)
Loretta may have a lot of bad points compared to Stella, but her positive points makes up for all the loss. The more you hits you get into the opponent, the longer they will be in stun animation.
