	Maria basics and techniques

Maria Renard

• Maria is faster than Richter and controls are on the looser side.
  
• Maria has lower defense than Richter.
  
• Food heals Maria for more compared to Richter.
  
• Maria is able to get into small passages by sliding.
• For every 20,000 points you accumulate, Maria gets a 1UP.
  

Attack				Double Jump		twice
		Maria's normal attack. Can summon two birds at once and can summon while running.				Maria can double jump to reach places that Richter normally cannot.

Roll		+		Slide		+
		Maria rolls. Faster than the slide but cannot get into small passages.				Maria slides. Slower than the roll but can get into small passages.

Guardian Fist		+
		Maria summons an image that flies forward and does massive damage.

Summons

Cat/Byakko (3 hearts)		+		Cardinal/Suzaku (1 heart)		+
		Maria summons a cat that runs across the room while hitting enemies. Once the cat hits an enemy, it will bounce back and then continue to run forward. Hits up to three times.				Maria summons birds from the sides which fly upward and back to her.

Turtle/Genbu (3 hearts)		+		Dragon/Seiryu (5 hearts)		+
		Maria summons a turtle shell in which she hides inside it to avoid attacks. To get out of the shell, simply do the summon command again.				Maria summons a dragon appears from behind and then flies forward.

Egg (3 hearts)		+		Book of Music (3 hearts)		+
		Maria summons/tosses an egg which will slowly hatch releasing a set of birds which fly upward in a spreadshot angle.				Maria summons music notes that slowly move forward while hitting enemies. Slows down enemies but doesn't affect some enemies.

Itemcrash

Cat/Byakko (20 hearts)				Cardinal/Suzaku (20 hearts)
		Maria summons an adult version of Byakko which she rides across the screen.				Maria summons an adult version of Suzaku which will grab onto her while summoning falling meteors. Maria's version of Richter's Hydrostorm.

Turtle/Genbu (20 hearts)				Dragon/Seiryu (50 hearts)
		Maria summons an adult version of Genbu from behind the screen. After spinning for a bit, Genbu will fly forward at a very fast speed.				Maria summons an adult version of Seiryu that moves around the screen for a few seconds before deciding to fly off.

Egg (5 hearts)				Book of Music (10 hearts)
		Maria summons a set of birds that move forward in a projectile fashion while spinning in circles.				Maria summons music notes which stay at the top of the screen. Lasts about three times the length of the normal music book and the notes also attack enemies touching it.
